Echo Maze ("the App") is operated by Echo Games. This policy describes what data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights.
Anonymous Device ID
A random UUID generated on first launch. It is never linked to your name, email address, or any account. It is used solely to identify your leaderboard entry across sessions.
Display Name
An auto-generated name (e.g. "Echo-1234"). You cannot set a custom name. This name is visible publicly on the global leaderboard.
Country
Detected from your device locale (e.g. "US") or manually set by you in Settings. Used only for leaderboard filtering. No precise location is ever collected.
Game Scores
Your score, level reached, and time taken are uploaded to our leaderboard when you achieve a personal best. No gameplay recordings or session replays are made.
Crash Reports — Firebase Crashlytics
If the App crashes, Crashlytics automatically collects the error message, stack trace, device model, OS version, and App version. No personal information is included in crash reports.
Advertising Data — Google AdMob
The App displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your Advertising ID, device information (model, OS version), IP address (used for approximate country-level location), and ad interaction data (views and clicks). This data is processed by Google under their own privacy policy.
We share data only with the following third-party services necessary to operate the App. We do not sell your data to any third parties.
Supabase — leaderboard storage
Stores device ID, display name, country, and scores. Privacy policy: supabase.com/privacy
Google Firebase / Crashlytics
Receives crash reports. Privacy policy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Google AdMob
Serves in-app advertisements. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
To opt out of personalised ads on Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation.
Leaderboard data is retained until you request deletion. Firebase crash reports are retained for 90 days. AdMob data retention is governed by Google's policies.
Echo Maze is rated for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a user under 13 has submitted data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
You may request deletion of your leaderboard data at any time by contacting us. Because all data is stored under your anonymous device ID, no identity verification is required — simply include the 4-character tag shown in the in-app Settings screen.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
